Our place is located in a village about 30 km from Surat Thani City, 7 km outside Ban Na town and 4 km from Thung Tao town. There are no frequent buses that go directly to here. It is accessible by other means of transportation listed below.

From Bangkok: the best is taking train number 167 to Ban Na. The train leaves at 6.50 pm and arrives Ban Na station at 8.20 am next morning. We can pick you up there and then drive to the jungle 8 km far from Ban Na. (ask us the price first)

From Malaysia: via land border crossing, if you are coming to Thailand via land you can take the bus to Hat Yai railway station and then take the ordinary train number 448 to Ban Na. It costs only 51 baht. The train leaves Hat Yai around 11 am and arrives Ban Na at 5.23 pm.

From Suratthani City: from any city in Thailand take train/bus/plane to Suratthani first and then take a mini van from Taladkaset 2 (downtown transportation hub) to Ban Na. There are many van offices there but try to find the van for Ban Na only and you don't miss. It costs 70 baht and take around an hour to Ban Na. We will pick you up at Ban Na van station then drive you to the jungle. (ask us the price first)

 Ban Na town has a train station that connects all the way from Malaysia to Bangkok, so also easy to get here by train. You can take the plane to Suratthani airport then take a taxi to Ban Na 500-600 B.

Another more independent choice would be to rent a motorbike in Surat Thani town (rates start at 250B day) and ride on your own to Wichai’s Jungle homestay.

How to move around:

To get to Wichai’s Jungle homestay we can pick you up from either the train station or the minivan station in Ban Na (ask the price first). Once at Wichai’s Jungle Homestay we provide bicycles for rent at 50B a day. You can also rent a motorbike in Surat Thani and use it to move around daily. There are no motorbike rental options near Wichai’s Jungle Homestay and renting a motorbike in Surat Thani would be the best option. We can also provide support if needed at a negotiable price either for transportation options or any other service you might need help with.
